Amy Nguyen taught for 14 years in an urban, high poverty school as a Special Education teacher and a reading intervention specialist, and 8 years in a private school as a middle school language arts teacher and then as a Curriculum Director. As a Curriculum Director she presented professional development workshops for the district and for her school. She is currently working as a Educational Consultant, providing professional development to local schools.
